Ingredients:
1 tbsp hot mustard
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
1 tbsp vegetable oil
6 oz marinated salmon (link this to recipe)
Cooked and cooled sushi rice
Fresh dill sprigs
Supplies:
Empty egg carton
Saran wrap
Directions:
1. Stir together the mustards, honey, vinegar, and oil until smooth.
2. Cut the salmon evenly into thin slices.
3. Line the egg carton with saran wrap, pressing it down into each cup. You may need a few pieces to do this.
4. Assemble the cones: start with the dill and lay 1 sprig in the bottom of each egg cup. Next, line it with a thin layer of salmon. Add a dollop of the honey mustard mix before filling to the top with sushi rice. Press the rice down gently and firmly.
5. Once you’ve used up your ingredients and have the egg cups full, carefully flip the carton over to empty the sushi cones onto a plate. Remove saran wrap and enjoy!
