Blondy is your go-to person for everything at the lodge as well as heading up the kitchen.  She loves cooking, gardening, kayaking and beach combing.  This year she got a metal detector so look out meteorites!

I am a 2013 French immersion graduate from Carihi secondary school in Campbell river. My hobbies and interests include skiing, swimming, fishing, surfing, dance, and astronomy. I love playing the piano and I am currently working on grade 10 piano with 5 students of my own. In school I played the piano and clarinet in band, and took part of the Carihi interact club for 3 years. I am currently going to school at North Island College, taking some first year science courses. Next year I plan to continue working on my piano and am going to take one more year at the college. After that I am planning on transferring to UVIC to pursue science, particularly biology .

My name is Breanna Goffman. I was born and raised on Hornby Island and have always had a great appreciation for the outdoors. I have a background in graphic design and customer service in the screen print business but spend my free time hiking, camping, fishing, cycling, and exploring Vancouver Island. I am looking forwards to working with all the wonderful people at Quatsino this year!

My name is Chris, I'm 22 yrs old and currently live in Bentley Alberta.  My hobbies include fishing, fishing and more fishing.   I love being outdoors biking, hiking, walking and taking in all nature.  I'm a true country boy that loves my country music. My dream job was to be on the west coast working near the ocean, more importantly anything to do with fish!  I'm hoping to eventually have a career as a Conservation Officer or Fish and Game. I can not wait for all the adventures and new people I'll meet.

My name is Jana and I am 18 years old. I live in Germany where I finished high school last year. I am part of a volunteering fire department which I totally love. Additionally my hobbys are wakeboarding, sailing and spending time with my family and friends . I love being outdoors and that's why I came to Canada. I am so excited to experience the beautiful nature and animals that you can find on Vancouver Island. I am looking forward to spend the summer at Quatsino Lodge this year.

Ty-ee joined the Schoenfelder family fishing team on September 1 of 2009. He has big paws to fill but has been working hard to accommodate guests with both play and fishing entertainment. He goes fishing everyday on Walter's boat. In fact he MUST not be left behind or the rest of the world cannot sleep. He lives to fish and his favourite fish so far is Tuna. Ty-ee is looking forward to fishing with all of you in the coming years. Look for his column in the newsletter.

I just want to thank you for the great time we had at the Quatsino Lodge. You are truly great hosts. Please thank Terry, Sarah, Ian, Keith and all the staff for making us feel at home. I know Bill was a bit of a curmudgeon at times, but deep down, he really treasured the trip. He wouldn't have been able to handle the open boats from the old days.

I'd like to especially thank Sarah for guiding us up to the Marble river. It was truly beautiful. And, thanks to Terry for riding through Bill's complaining.

I want to thank you again for your hospitality, and we'll be back soon.
